Students use Clever to access Schoology, Office 365, and other links for students. For online textbooks, students in grades K-5 use Clever and students in grades 6-12 use Schoology.

Report Cards can be accessed through your student's HAC at this time.

About Our School

The Evelyn Hamblen Center is a therapeutic school that provides individualized education and a variety of support services for students identified as emotionally and behaviorally disabled through a referral and placement process. The school provides intensive mental health counseling, psychiatric and case management services and an individualized academic curriculum to assist students in returning to their zoned school. The Evelyn Hamblen Center is designed to serve ESE students enrolled in grades K-12 and up to 22 years of age.

Family Engagement Month

November is Florida Family Engagement in Education Month, a time to celebrate the crucial role parents and families play in their children's education. When schools work together with families to support learning, children are more motivated to succeed, not just in school, but throughout life.

School Access

This is just a reminder that anyone (parent, guardian, friend, neighbor, aunt, uncle) must have school access to attend an event at the Evelyn B. Hamblen Center. If you have not already done so, please complete the School Access Form. The process for approval may take up to 4 weeks, so please fill out the application sooner than later for any guests that would like to have school access. Once the application is approved, school access will be valid for three years.

"Special Olympics Florida: How to Get Your Student Involved" Virtual Discussion on December 3

Please join us on December 3, 2024, from 6pm to 7:30pm for a virtual discussion titled "Special Olympics Florida: How to Get Your Student Involved." This informative session will highlight free unified youth sports leagues - basketball, soccer, flag football, golf - and other community sports programs that provide inclusive environments for athletes of all ages and abilities.

FortifyFL App

FortifyFL is a website and app developed at the direction of the Florida Legislature. Any student, educator, parent, or member of the public can report school safety concerns directly to law enforcement and school administrators anonymously and easily through the FortifyFL app or getfortifyfl.com.

Florida school districts are now required by the FLDOE to make a FortifyFL Training Presentation available to parents and guardians.
